Bookshelf is a conceptual retail space designed to slow down the customer journey. Moving away from traditional transactional layouts, this design functions as a hybrid between a bookstore and a community lounge.

The palette combines the warmth of terracotta walls with playful, color-coded shelving units (teal, yellow, purple) to navigate different genres. Local craftsmanship is highlighted through the extensive use of cane (rattan) detailing on the reception and seating, paired with classic terrazzo flooring—anchoring the modern space in Bengali heritage.
